Abstract Review & Evaluation Workflow
To maintain high scientific standards and promote meaningful discussions in vaccine research, every abstract submitted to VDD 2027 undergoes a structured scientific review process. Submissions are evaluated by members of the scientific committee and relevant subject experts based on scientific relevance, clarity, originality and contribution to the field of vaccine discovery and development.
How the Review Process Works
Initial Screening & Quality Check
Once submitted, each abstract is reviewed by the conference editorial team to ensure that all required information is complete and that the submission follows the prescribed formatting, content and thematic guidelines of VDD 2027.
Scientific Review by Subject Experts
Eligible submissions are forwarded to relevant scientific committee members and subject experts for evaluation. The review focuses on scientific relevance, originality, research methodology, clarity and potential contribution to vaccine discovery, immunology and development.
Evaluation & Presentation Assignment
Following scientific evaluation, the committee determines the suitability of the submission for the conference program. Accepted abstracts may be assigned for an Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation based on the scientific program and available presentation sessions.
Acceptance Notification
The corresponding author will receive an official notification regarding the review outcome. Authors may also receive additional instructions related to their presentation format, conference participation and further registration procedures.
Registration & Conference Scheduling
Authors with accepted abstracts are required to complete their conference registration within the applicable deadline to confirm participation. Once registration is completed, the presentation will be scheduled within the official VDD 2027 scientific program.
Important Information
The scientific committee reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the acceptance and presentation category of all submitted abstracts. Authors are encouraged to ensure that their submissions are original, scientifically accurate and relevant to the themes of Vaccine Discovery & Development 2027.
